🪄 This Piece of String Has Forgotten How Gravity Works
A normal piece of string hangs down, gets tangled in a drawer and generally makes no effort to entertain anyone. ZipString has other ideas. This pocket-sized red launcher sends a continuous loop of lightweight string flying through the air, where it seems to hover, twist and follow your hand movements. The effect looks a bit like an invisible magician is holding up the string, except the magician is a small rechargeable gadget and you are the person standing in the middle of the room grinning at a floating loop.
🌀 Move Your Hand, Watch the Loop Follow
The original ZipString uses a moving loop and carefully balanced forces to create its remarkable flying effect. Tilt, turn or sweep the launcher and the string responds with curves, circles, waves and surprisingly elaborate shapes. Once you get the hang of the basics, you can experiment with finger tricks, looping patterns and games that make everyone nearby stop what they are doing to ask how it works. It is like a futuristic yo-yo, only the string itself has become the main attraction.
🔴 Three Strings and a Whole Lot of Trick Potential
The Rock'it Red version includes the handheld launcher, three string loops in different lengths and colors, a USB-C charging cable and instructions. A code links to an online trick library when you are ready to graduate from “look, it's floating” to something considerably more impressive. Because the whole thing fits into a pocket or small bag, it can come along to parties, family gatherings and anywhere else someone might appreciate an unexpected physics demonstration disguised as a toy.
🔋 Screen-Free Fun With a Rechargeable Twist
The internal rechargeable battery offers up to four hours of play on a full charge, so there is no need to keep replacing batteries between attempts at a new move. The maker recommends independent use from age eight, with younger children needing hands-on adult help. It is a memorable gift for curious kids, teens, adults who love unusual gadgets and anyone who gets unreasonably competitive about mastering a new trick. It is also refreshingly simple: no phone, no game account and no screen. Just a loop of string behaving like it has important places to be.
